The Issyk Kul SCO Run the Silk Road Marathon will take place on May 2, 2026, in Cholpo-Ata town, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region.
The Start and Finish area will be located on territory of the Race track of Baktuu-Dolonotu village.
Start time: 08:00.
Distances:
42 km 195 m,
21 km 097 m,
10 km,
3 km,
Nordic walking – 10 km,
and a Kid’s Run (up to 13 years old).
Age Categories:
In addition to overall rankings (separately for men and women), the following age categories are considered and awarded in the marathon and half marathon distances:
35–44 years
45–54 years
55–64 years
65 years and older
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
For the 10 km and 3 km distances, as well as the Nordic walking category, age groups are not considered and not awarded.
Medical Clearance:
Participants in the 42 km 195 m, 21 km 097 m, and 10 km distances must undergo a medical examination and obtain a medical certificate permitting them to run the selected distance.
